Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Melekh David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clint Lomax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lomax has chosen Ace of Spades as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Melekh David! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
52 - 13 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clint Lomax! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lomax lands with a thumping leg kick.
David looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. David fails to land the takedown. Lomax misses with a hook. David throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lomax thows a left - swing and a miss! Crunch! Lomax slams his shin into David's torso. David shoots in but Lomax avoids the takedown attempt easily. David tried to score with a low kick but Lomax checks it. Lomax uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by David.
David connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. David dives in and grabs Lomax's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lomax pushes down on David's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Melekh David. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lomax throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. David keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lomax. Lomax looks to land a left hand but David moved out of range nicely. David fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. David looks for a takedown but Lomax sprawls well. David throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lomax tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. David is in Lomax's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as David accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lomax wants to get back to his feet but David is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lomax not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Lomax looking for a sweep. Not yet Lomax, not yet. David throws an elbow that misses. Lomax uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in David's guard. Nice move by Lomax! Lomax trying to control but David is working from the bottom. David wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Lomax must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lomax looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Lomax got a little sloppy there for a moment and David has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lomax has managed to get both his arms back between David's legs - danger averted. David pulls Lomax in close to prevent any damage. Lomax wants to stand but David is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. David looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lomax wants to pass the guard but David is keeping the position. Lomax wants to stand but David has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lomax slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Clint Lomax has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Lomax checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lomax pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. David connects with a nice looking jab.
Lomax connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lomax misses with a looping left. Lomax connects with a body shot. Lomax has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Lomax tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A lazy left from Lomax finds it's target. David uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lomax. Lomax is looking to land body kicks. Lomax just misses with a punch to the body.
David dives in and grabs Lomax's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lomax pushes down on David's head and hops out. Clint Lomax seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lomax throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lomax throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent David stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lomax throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Some wild striking there from David.
Lomax connects with a leg kick. David looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clint Lomax dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
David slips under a jab. Lomax throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lomax throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. An inside leg kick from Lomax misses. Lomax throws a half hearted mid kick. David misses with a double jab.
David misses with a hook. Lomax ducked under it nicely. Lomax takes one on the button. Lomax tries to clinch up but David circles away and keeps his distance. David lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Donk. Lomax catches David right on the button with a cross. Lomax throws a leg kick which misses David's front leg but catches the back leg as David tries to avoid it. Lomax keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
David slips a jab from Lomax. Lomax lands with a nice body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. David thuds his right hand into Lomax's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Lomax moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Lomax lands with a shot to the body. Lomax throws a solid leg kick but David takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Lomax. David throws a looping overhand right but Lomax ducks down to avoid it. Lomax feints and then cracks David's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow David down. Lomax throws a nice outside leg kick. Lomax misses with an uppercut. David saw that one coming. David shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lomax as he jumps to the side. Lomax takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Lomax tried to score with a low kick but David checks it. David circles away from the clinch attempt.
David fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lomax avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lomax takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. This has been an exciting period of action! David moves out of range of the leg kick from Lomax. Lomax misses with a right hand and David counters with a nice double leg into half guard. David lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. David has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. David thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. David prevents Lomax from improving his position. Lomax is looking to escape. David thows a huge punch but Lomax dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lomax tries to kick David off but David keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. David not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. David trying to mount his opponent but Lomax defends it. Lomax blocking the ground and pound attempt from David. David frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lomax is trying desperately to improve position. Lomax tries to buck David off but he can't manage it. David raining down shots from the mount! Lomax is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. David postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Lomax looks a forlorn figure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! David throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, David cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Lomax is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
David thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! David looking to ground and pound but Lomax is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. David breaks from Lomax's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Melekh David dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Lomax misses with a body kick. The fighters circling - Lomax throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Lomax moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. David uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lomax.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lomax lands with a nice body kick. David drives through with a takedown into guard. Lomax is controlling David's posture. David trying to control but Lomax is working from the bottom. David throwing strikes but missing. David stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lomax swivels though and keeps the full guard. David wants to control from the top but Lomax keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. David throws a big right hand that misses. David loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lomax is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lomax is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lomax wants to stand and escape but David is having none of it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. David stalks Lomax and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lomax's face. Lomax staggers backwards, shaken. Good leg kick by David there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lomax looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Lomax throws a chopping leg kick but David manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. David moves away from the strike by Lomax. David is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. David swings and misses with a hook to the body.
David shoots in but Lomax avoids the takedown attempt easily. David checks the leg kick. Lomax with a body punch. A glancing blow. David throws out a loose jab but Lomax uses good head movement to avoid it. David misses with a low kick. David takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Lomax throws a hook but David blocks it. A slow jab from Lomax misses its intended target. Lomax connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. David avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lomax throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Lomax displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from David. Lomax shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Clint Lomax seems to be getting the better of the standup. David throws a leg kick and Lomax counters with a good low kick that David was not able to check. Clint Lomax is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. David on the wrong end of a nice jab. Lomax throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

David's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lomax connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! David scrambles back to his feet. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. David scoring well with a low kick there.
Lomax checks the leg kick. David will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Lomax throws a hook but David avoids it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Clint Lomax comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lomax has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Clint Lomax! A less than humble Clint Lomax misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
