The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leddy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hatcher looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Leddy controls the position from side control.
Leddy cracks Hatcher with a big right hand but Hatcher just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Leddy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hatcher on his heels. He'll look to pass Hatcher's guard now, I'm sure.
Leddy not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Leddy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Leddy shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hatcher is trying to defend but Leddy finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Leddy is taking a breather. Hatcher says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Leddy closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Hatcher is trying to escape the position but Leddy is controlling the position.
The strikes coming from Leddy are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Leddy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
You can see the frustration on Hatcher's face as Leddy controls the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Leddy lands a strong strike to the head of Hatcher. That's dazed him! Leddy looking to finish here. Hatcher is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Leddy lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
