Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jarvis Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Walker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jarvis Sosa's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Walker!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Walker blocks a head kick by Sosa.

Sosa drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Walker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Sosa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sosa throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Walker works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sosa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Walker is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Matt Walker wasn't active enough on the ground.

That was a close round but I would say that Jarvis Sosa will probably get the nod.

and Walker counters with a nice body shot.

Sosa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walker as he jumps to the side.
Jarvis Sosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sosa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sosa is looking to clinch but Walker is avoiding it.
Sosa misses with a low kick.
Sosa dives in for a single leg takedown but Walker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Walker gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Walker wants to take a breather but Sosa is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Walker not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Walker is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Sosa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Sosa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walker.

Sosa moves into the clinch successfully.

Sosa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Walker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Sosa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Sosa throws a sloppy head kick and Walker moves out of range easily.
Sosa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Walker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sosa stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Sosa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Walker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sosa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nice shot lands for Walker.
Walker blocks a head kick by Sosa.
Sosa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


Sosa is rocked!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walker throws an overhand right that has Sosa reeling! Walker follows up with more punches and Sosa is out cold! This one is all over!
