Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jannis Arvanitidis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Gunnarsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Peter Gunnarsson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arvanitidis avoids the body shot from Gunnarsson.
Arvanitidis throws a hook to the side of Gunnarsson's head but Gunnarsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Arvanitidis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Arvanitidis tries for a takedown but Gunnarsson circles away easily
and Gunnarsson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Arvanitidis pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Arvanitidis shoots in looking for a takedown but Gunnarsson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Arvanitidis's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jannis Arvanitidis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gunnarsson closes the distance looking for a takedown. Arvanitidis stuffs it but Gunnarsson still has hold of him. Gunnarsson picks Arvanitidis up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Gunnarsson slams Arvanitidis to the floor and that's really hurt Arvanitidis - he doesn't know where he is! Gunnarsson throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
