Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanderson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, If It Bleeds We Can Kill It. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Sanderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mike Torres! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Torres shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sanderson's guard. Sanderson is wriggling around but Torres manages to pass to half guard.
Sanderson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sanderson actively working from the bottom here. Sanderson regains full guard. Nicely done. Torres postures up.
Sanderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Torres can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Torres preventing the sweep. Torres is working Sanderson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sanderson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sanderson with a lazy takedown attempt and Torres counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Torres missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Sanderson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanderson blocks Torres's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Torres is trying desperately to improve position. Sanderson swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Torres is now in Sanderson's guard. A big mistake from Sanderson there, giving up the dominant position! Sanderson keeping moving, preventing Torres from controlling successfully. Torres might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sanderson kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Torres is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sanderson's shoulder. That is not cool. Sanderson is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Torres trying to control the action but Sanderson is working from the bottom. Sanderson tries to get back to half guard but can't. Torres wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanderson keeps working.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Torres just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sanderson with a lazy takedown attempt and Torres counters with a single leg into guard. Sanderson didn't expect that. Sanderson keeping moving, preventing Torres from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Torres shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sanderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sanderson is trying to escape back to his feet but Torres uses the scramble to pass into side control.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sanderson shoots and misses and Torres counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Sanderson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Torres avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Sanderson looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Sanderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sanderson uses from the top position. Sanderson wanted to stand there but Torres had control of the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sanderson keeping moving, preventing Torres from controlling successfully. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Torres changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sanderson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sanderson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Torres is trying to work for a kimura but Sanderson is defending well.

Torres really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Torres preventing the sweep. Torres stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sanderson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mike Torres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Torres accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Torres closes the distance and clinches. Sanderson has Torres pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Torres manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Sanderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Torres ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Torres no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Sanderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Torres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sanderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard. Torres looking for subs off his back but Sanderson has passed one foot through into half guard.

Ryan Sanderson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sanderson tries for a kimura but Torres is defending well. Torres explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Mike Torres is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A clash of legs there as Torres blocks the low kick.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mike Torres. Well Torres has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
