Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lars Larsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Mundo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Larsen comes to the cage accompanied by Ennio Morricone - A Fistful Of Dollars. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mundo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Larsen counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mundo's knee momentarily.
Mundo shoots in looking for a takedown. Larsen tries to sprawl out of it but Mundo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Larsen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mundo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Larsen manages to avoid it.
Mundo misses the jab.

and Larsen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mundo thinking.
Mundo closes the distance and clinches.
Larsen is defending well against a takedown attempt.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mundo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mundo working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Mundo is fighting to break Larsen's control of his arms but Larsen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Mundo looks to land a right hand but Larsen moved out of range.

Mundo throws a nice looking combination but Larsen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mundo lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Larsen sprawling to the canvas. Mundo follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Larsen hang on?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Larsen tries to roll over but Mundo keeps him under control.
Mundo looks to land a strike but Larsen avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
