1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Dos Santos! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Santos throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Buckley closes the distance and clinches. Dos Santos wants a takedown.
Dos Santos is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Buckley stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Buckley breaks the clinch.
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown but Buckley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Buckley gets a clinch. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gregg Buckley. Buckley connects with a body shot. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Buckley drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both guys are working to get underhooks. Dos Santos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Buckley is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dos Santos to the mat. Dos Santos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Buckley is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Buckley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Dos Santos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dos Santos is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Buckley landing some decent shots from guard. Dos Santos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Buckley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Buckley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dos Santos keeping full guard, as Buckley tries to pass. Buckley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos Santos slips a straight right by Buckley. Dos Santos wants to clinch up but Buckley keeps it at a distance. Buckley gets the takedown into side control. Buckley is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Dos Santos will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Buckley working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Buckley tries for a kimura but Dos Santos is defending well. Gregg Buckley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Buckley just content to control the position. Dos Santos is trying to control Buckley's posture but Buckley avoids it.

Dos Santos is looking to reverse the position. Buckley moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dos Santos! Dos Santos sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Buckley trying to mount his opponent but Dos Santos defends it. Dos Santos on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Buckley thows a huge punch but Dos Santos dodges it nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! Gregg Buckley showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Buckley, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
