Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vhong Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Musashi has chosen Sword of the Stranger - Mukoh Hadan as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vhong Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryu Musashi! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lee doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Musashi tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Musashi looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well. No joy there for Musashi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Musashi avoids it really well and circles away. Musashi cracks Lee with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Vhong Lee has been cut. Ryu Musashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Musashi fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vhong Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Musashi!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Lee. Lee grinds an elbow into Musashi's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee taking a breather here. Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Musashi wants to get back to his feet. Musashi is trying to escape the position but Lee is controlling the position. The strikes coming from Lee are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Musashi pushes Lee away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lee gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Musashi is pushing Lee's head away, looking to escape. Lee manages to hold on to the position though. Lee in side control lands a decent elbow. Lee lands a nice forearm strike. An elbow from Lee crashes against the mat.
Musashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lee looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Musashi is avoiding damage well.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lee taking a breather here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Musashi can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee working the ground and pound. Lee landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Lee fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Lee controls the position. Lee in side control, throwing shots but Musashi defends.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Musashi parries the strikes from Lee easily there. Lee is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Musashi to escape.
Musashi seems a little lost for a moment, as Lee dominates the positioning. Musashi wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Lee controlling the position from side mount. Lee throws a strike aimed at the side of Musashi's head but Musashi avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Vhong Lee will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Vhong Lee's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lee shoots in for a takedown but Musashi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Musashi's waist but Musashi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lee off to one side. Lee shoots in for a takedown but Musashi shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vhong Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Musashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lee moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lee tries for a takedown but Musashi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lee takes a shot right to the bread basket. Musashi lands a left and a right that send Lee crashing to the mat, dazed. Musashi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lee is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Musashi fakes the body blow, causing Lee to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lee goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryu Musashi! An out of breath Ryu Musashi thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
