Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orange Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley has chosen Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Marvin Stanley! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stanley has a takedown stuffed. Stanley slips a jab from Joe. Joe misses with a wild body shot. Joe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Joe showed some decent athleticism there. Stanley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Joe's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Joe's back! Joe tries to escape the position.
Joe defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Stanley's arms. Joe tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Joe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanley unloads with some shots from mount but Joe bucks and avoids them well.
Stanley throws a sloppy strike and Joe uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Joe has ended up in Stanley's guard.

Stanley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Joe is aware though and is defending well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stanley looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Joe puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Joe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Joe passes Stanley's left leg - he's now in half guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Joe's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Joe won't allow Stanley to sweep him here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Joe is adopting a defensive guard. Joe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stanley is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stanley is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Joe is not content to let Stanley control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marvin Stanley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
