The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aleshire looks to clinch
and Karlsson counters with a three punch combo that has Aleshire backing up. Aleshire nods at Karlsson to acknowledge the strikes.
Karlsson shoots in for a takedown but Aleshire shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Aleshire closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Karlsson did well to prevent Aleshire getting side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
