Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raje Malapitan!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Eddie Farnsworth and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makunouchi misses with an uppercut.
Makunouchi lands a jab to the nose.
It looks like Raje Malapitan has been cut.
Makunouchi scores with a body shot.
Makunouchi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Malapitan finds it's way round the side to connect with Makunouchi's head.
Makunouchi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Makunouchi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Makunouchi takes a swing at Malapitan's ribcage but misses.
Malapitan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Makunouchi lands with a hook. Malapitan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Makunouchi looks to land a right hand but Malapitan moved out of range.
Makunouchi looks to land a combination but Malapitan avoids it well.

Malapitan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Makunouchi manages to avoid it.

Ippo Makunouchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malapitan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Makunouchi throws a series of punches but Malapitan moves out of range.

Malapitan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Makunouchi counters with a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Makunouchi's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Makunouchi duly obliges.

Makunouchi feints a jab promting Malapitan to slip. Makunouchi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Malapitan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Malapitan is rocked!
Malapitan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Makunouchi throws a combination that misses
and Makunouchi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Makunouchi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Malapitan moves away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Makunouchi!
Malapitan is still on wobbly legs! Can Makunouchi finish him?
Makunouchi feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Malapitan crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
