Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thors Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Riddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Riley Riddler will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddler has a takedown stuffed.

Hammer feints and as Riddler raises his hands in defense, Hammer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hammer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Hammer wants to control but Riddler is keeping him busy.
Riddler sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hammer wants to pass to mount but Riddler is defending the position.

We've been hearing good reports from Hammer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Hammer moves into full mount! Riddler won't be happy about that!
Riddler is trying desperately to improve position.
Riddler tries to lock up and control but Hammer gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Riddler is in all sorts of trouble here.
Riddler felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Riddler wants to control but Hammer is having none of it.
Hammer lands a big shot there that rocks Riddler but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammer loads up with a big shot that hurts Riddler! He's pulled Hammer in close but Hammer has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Riddler survive? More strikes from Hammer and Riddler is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

Thors Hammer decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
