Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohamed Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Boats & Hoes. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buster Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Mohamed Hassan! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn throws a right and a left that both miss. Hassan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Quinn defends well and Hassan ends up having to push Quinn into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hassan tries to throw a body punch but Quinn avoids it by throwing Hassan back against the cage. Hassan's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Hassan is trying to pull guard but Quinn turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Hassan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Quinn works Hassan's body with a nice hook. Hassan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hassan tries to clinch but Quinn moves out of range. Quinn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Buster Quinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Quinn with a body punch. A glancing blow. Hassan looks winded! Quinn scores with a body shot.
Hassan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hassan lands in his opponent's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Quinn manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Quinn lands a jab to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. A combination from Quinn does no damage. Quinn scores with a body shot.
Quinn definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Quinn fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hassan tries to clinch but Quinn is having none of it. Quinn drops Hassan with a left and a right! Oh, Hassan is hurt - Quinn dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Mohamed Hassan has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quinn stands up and we're back to a striking position. Quinn gets a clinch. Hassan has Quinn pressed against the cage, preventing Quinn from circling away and getting back to striking at range. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hassan. Quinn lands a left hand that snaps the head of Hassan backwards. Hassan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Quinn uses from the top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hassan can do anything to dispel that myth. Quinn gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hassan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Quinn swivels and escapes. Buster Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohamed Hassan. Quinn lands a nice looking body shot.
Quinn drives through and clinches with Hassan against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Quinn.
Quinn digs a right hand into Hassan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hassan's gas tank. A short right hand to the side of the head by Quinn. Quinn lands a shot to the body. A short right from Quinn. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quinn creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A quick uppercut on the inside from Quinn. Hassan can't break the clinch.
Quinn lands with a short shot to the head. Quinn digs a right hand underneath Hassan's ribcage. Hassan let out a lung full of air as it connected. A short right from Quinn.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn lands a body shot in the clinch.
Quinn stalls. Quinn lands a right hand. Quinn throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Quinn leaning against his opponent.
Quinn scores with an uppercut up the middle. Quinn lands a body punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A left hand lands to the body for Quinn.
Quinn lands a hook to the side of the head. Hassan takes a shot to the head. Quinn pushes Hassan back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Quinn lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Hassan is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Quinn cracks Hassan with a nice body shot. Hassan is still on wobbly legs! Can Quinn finish him? Quinn pushes Hassan against the cage. Quinn is working some dirty boxing. Quinn pushes off with a quick right hook! Hassan goes down! Hassan tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Quinn moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buster Quinn! Buster Quinn took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
