Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jan Olov Hermansson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petter Anier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hermansson comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Ich Will!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

14 - 21 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Petter Anier! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Valeri Chadov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anier rushes Hermansson and presses him up against the cage. Hermansson misses with a hook to the ribs.
Hermansson doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Anier pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hermansson misses with a wild combination.
Hermansson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hermansson gets caught napping as Anier dives in and scores a takedown. Hermansson manages to retain guard. Anier is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hermansson trying to control the position.
Anier wants to control from the top but Hermansson keeps moving. Hermansson pulls Anier in close to his closed guard and prevents Anier from doing any damage or advancing position. Hermansson is looking for a triangle but Anier pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anier sitting in guard here, content to control.
Petter Anier has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Anier doesn't manage to clinch there - Hermansson circles away.
Anier looking to score a takedown here. Hermansson is defending well but Anier drives through and ends up in Hermansson's guard. Hermansson has Anier pulled in close to control his posture. Hermansson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anier gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hermansson wants to sweep here but Anier controlling him for the moment. Anier wanted to stand there but Hermansson had control of the position. Anier stands and steps away. Hermansson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anier shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hermansson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Anier pulls his head out easily. Hermansson wants to control but Anier is keeping busy and won't allow it. Anier lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Anier is looking to pass Hermansson's guard but actually Hermansson recovers to full guard. Anier stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Hermansson has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Anier manages to get his head free but now Hermansson has transitioned to an armbar! Anier grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Hermansson! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
