Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dolphin Neck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neck darts in and clinches Smith up against the cage.
Neck managing to block the knees to the body from Smith.
Neck working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Neck blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Neck blocks an elbow strike from Smith.
A right handed body shot lands from Neck.
Neck has Smith pushed against the cage.

Neck is looking to clinch but Smith is avoiding it.

Neck works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Neck throws out a loose jab but Smith uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smith ducks under a wild hook from Neck.

and Neck counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Neck.

Neck is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Smith dives in for a single leg takedown but Neck sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

I would just about give that final round to Vinnie Smith.
Well Neck has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
