Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Blagojevic Batakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Blagojevic Batakovic has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Blagojevic Batakovic seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs keeps the fight on the outside.
A big left from Briggs misses.
Batakovic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Batakovic gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Briggs tries for a takedown but Batakovic manages to get underhooks.
Batakovic makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Batakovic misses with some punches.
Batakovic throws a punch but it's blocked by Briggs.
Batakovic decides to pull guard.
Batakovic wants to sweep but no luck.
Batakovic has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Briggs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Briggs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Batakovic's guard.
Batakovic wants to improve his position but Briggs is controlling well.
Briggs tries to pass the half guard into mount. Batakovic knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Briggs is thwarting Batakovic's attempts to control the position.
Batakovic looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Batakovic wants to control but Briggs is keeping busy.

Batakovic is looking to improve his position.
Briggs seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Batakovic does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Briggs connects with a couple of short punches.
Briggs must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Briggs got a little sloppy there for a moment and Batakovic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Briggs has managed to get both his arms back between Batakovic's legs - danger averted.
Batakovic can't keep his opponent in guard - Briggs advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Batakovic is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Briggs scores with a couple of nice shots.

Batakovic is looking for a sweep. Briggs is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Briggs winds up and cracks Batakovic with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Batakovic tries to get to full guard but Briggs has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Briggs has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Briggs fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Batakovic is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Elite Training Facility that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Batakovic is covering up but some of the strikes from Briggs are getting through and doing damage.

A helpless look comes across Batakovic 's face. He knows he's trapped as Briggs lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
