Darglio has chosen The Black Keys "Funk #49" as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaston takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Nick Gaston has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gaston. Darglio does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gaston tries a head kick but it misses.
Darglio lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Darglio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Gaston connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Darglio to the floor! Gaston dives in looking for the finish!

It looks like Red Darglio has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Darglio manages to get to full guard.
Darglio has his hands on Gaston's head, controlling the position.
Gaston engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gaston.

and Darglio makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Gaston is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Darglio engages and cracks Gaston with a massive lead left hook - Gaston tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Darglio is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
