Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geodude Golem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gigant Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golem comes to the cage accompanied by Geo dude geo geo dude. The key to victory for Geodude Golem has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva dodges the punch combination from Golem.
Nice straight punches there by Silva. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Silva.
Golem throws a combination that misses

and Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Golem's guard.
Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Silva cracks Golem with a big right hand but Golem just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Silva decides to stand up, so the ref orders Golem to his feet.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Golem pushes him off.
Golem misses with a double jab.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Golem circles away.
Golem feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Silva's calf.
Silva tries to clinch but Golem is having none of it.
Golem misses with a series of wild punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Golem falls off balance throwing a combination

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Golem won't be happy with that.

You can see the frustration on Golem's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Silva throws a strike aimed at the side of Golem's head but Golem avoids it well.

Golem on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Golem tries to get out of the position.

Silva has hold of Golem's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Golem tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Silva cranks the arm and Golem screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Golem, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Gigant Silva!
Gigant Silva spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
