Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cray Daddy Tay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikko Rourke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tay comes into the arena with Bow Down blaring out of the sound system. Rourke has chosen Rolling Stones - Paint it black as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tay connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tay throws a hook but Rourke avoids it easily.
Tay checks the leg kick.
Rourke avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tay looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A telegraphed right hand from Tay misses the target.
Rourke pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nice straight punches there by Tay. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tay.
Rourke scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tay in his tracks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rourke wants to slow Tay down by chopping away at his legs.
Tay is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rourke.

Rourke displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tay throws out the jab.
Tay throws out a loose jab but Rourke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tay misses with a straight right.
Tay stuffs the takedown.
Rourke cracks Tay with a right hand to the side of the head.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rourke.
Rourke looks to score with a jab to the body but Tay is just out of range.

Rourke doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Tay counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Tay throws a big shot that misses.
Tay lands a glancing blow to the side of Rourke's head.
Tay is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Tay scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Tay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rourke manages to avoid it.

Tay takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Rourke throws a body punch but Tay moves out of range.

Rourke swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tay tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Rourke cracks Tay with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Tay throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tay throws a hook but Rourke avoids it easily.
Tay misses with a jab to the body
and Rourke counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rourke lands with a cross.
Rourke throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tay lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tay throws an overhand right that lands on Rourke's shoulder, as Rourke tries to avoid the shot.
Tay uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Tay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rourke lands with a kick to the temple. Tay shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Rourke shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tay manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Rourke must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rourke postures up and lands a big shot to Tay's brow.


Tay is rocked!
Rourke wants to control from the top but Tay keeps moving.
Rourke might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tay haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rourke stopping the sweep attempt from Tay.
Rourke throws an elbow that misses. Tay uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rourke's guard. Nice move by Tay!

Rourke controls Tay momentarily but Tay frees himself.
Tay throws a strike but Rourke rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rourke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tay defends well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close second round but I would say that Cray Daddy Tay will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rourke seems to have recovered his senses.
Tay dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tay clobbers Rourke with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Tay throws a body punch but Rourke moves out of range.
Rourke slips under a jab.
Rourke throws a hook to the side of Tay's head but Tay sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circle momentarily. Rourke darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Rourke throws a leg kick but Tay sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Tay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rourke sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Tay and Rourke goes tumbling to the canvas! Tay follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rourke is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tay is controlling the pace.
Tay trying to control the action but Rourke is working from the bottom.
Tay is looking to stall here but Rourke recovers full guard.
Rourke preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Tay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rourke swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cray Daddy Tay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Rourke wants to sweep here but Tay controlling him for the moment.
Mikko Rourke has got the better of the ground game so far.

Tay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rourke has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tay has managed to get both his arms back between Rourke's legs - danger averted.

Tay lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Rourke is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Rourke works his foot free and advances to mount.
Tay can't escape the position.
Mikko Rourke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
