Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Dama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danielson tries to land a leg kick but Dama saw it coming and moves away.
Dama throws a head kick that misses.
Danielson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Danielson throws the left hand but Dama avoids the punch easily.
Dama moves to clinch but Danielson breaks away

and Danielson counters by moving into the clinch.

Danielson wants the takedown. Dama is fighting it off but Danielson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Dama's guard against the cage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Danielson lands a couple of digs.

Danielson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dama looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dama looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dama!

Dama is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Danielson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Dama swings around for an armbar but Danielson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dama's guard.

Ken Dama is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Danielson cracks Dama's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Dama slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Danielson can do further damage! This one is done, son!
