Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrews Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Duncan's choice of entrance music: One Chance. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andrews Silver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Duncan! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body punch from Duncan. Duncan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silver circles away quickly and effectively. Silver goes for a double leg but Duncan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Duncan continues to drive forward. Duncan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Silver throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Duncan works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Duncan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silver stands up over Duncan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Silver with a flurry of punches that miss. Silver throwing strikes but missing. Silver missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Silver with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Silver throws a big right hand that misses. Silver connects with a couple of short punches. Silver stands up over Duncan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Silver postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Silver throwing strikes from guard but Duncan blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silver throwing strikes from guard but Duncan blocks nicely. Duncan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Silver trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silver is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Duncan is looking for a triangle but Silver pushes his legs off easily.
Silver chips away with some ground and pound. Duncan has his foot on Silver's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silver works his way back into a safe position though. Silver postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Silver sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Duncan's guard. Silver not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Silver lands strikes from half guard. Silver drops an elbow to the side of Duncan's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Silver lands with a punch from half guard. Silver stops Duncan from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Duncan on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Silver will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Silver working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Duncan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Duncan. Duncan looks winded! Silver is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duncan can do anything to dispel that myth. Silver lands a couple of digs. Duncan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Duncan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silver. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Silver's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Silver slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Silver cracks Duncan with a big right hand but Duncan just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silver working the ground and pound from side control. Silver in side control lands a decent elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Duncan tries to escape but Silver is in control. Duncan taking punishment in the form of punches.
It looks like Tommy Duncan has been cut. Duncan is looking for a sweep. Silver has knee on belly and moves into mount. The referee warns Duncan that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Duncan is in a horrible position here. Silver smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Duncan is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Silver! Duncan is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Andrews Silver! Andrews Silver thanked the fans post fight for their support. In defeat, Tommy Duncan stepped up to the mic, saying 'Who's Next?'.
