Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Bell! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chuck Kamenski! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kamenski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Kamenski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bell but Bell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kamenski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bell. Kamenski steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bell. Bell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Chuck Kamenski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kamenski tries to clinch up but Bell circles away and keeps his distance. Kamenski shoots in looking for a takedown. Bell tries to sprawl out of it but Kamenski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell with a jab. A jab-cross combination lands for Bell and sends Kamenski crashing to the mat! Bell follows him down to the mat - Kamenski regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! Kamenski is still in real trouble! Can Bell finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bell is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kamenski tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Kamenski seems to have recovered his senses. Bell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bell sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bell prevents Kamenski from getting the reversal. Bell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Horrible takedown by Kamenski or perhaps it was just good defense by Bell which made him look bad.
