Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Israel Whetu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Gerrard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whetu comes to the cage accompanied by Gunz for Hire - The Massacre. Israel Whetu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Stephen Gerrard's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Israel Whetu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Stephen Gerrard!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whetu looks to land a left hand but Gerrard moved out of range nicely.
Gerrard tries to close the distance and clinch but Whetu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Whetu throws a front kick that sends Gerrard stumbling back into the cage.
Whetu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Gerrard scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Whetu doesn't seem bothered though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Whetu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gerrard misses with a double jab.
Whetu closes the distance and pushes Gerrard back into the cage.
Gerrard wants to break free but Whetu has control.
Whetu lands an elbow inside.
Gerrard is looking to break free of the clinch but Whetu has double underhooks.
Whetu stops a takedown attempt from Gerrard.
Whetu has Gerrard pressed against the cage, preventing Gerrard from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gerrard wants to get back to striking at distance but Whetu won't allow it.
Whetu working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Gerrard working hard to break the clinch.
Whetu breaks the clinch.
Whetu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Whetu throws a right hand that misses
and Gerrard counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gerrard connects with a nice cross there... Whetu is looking wobbly and Gerrard recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Whetu to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Gerrard jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
