3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Samir Misk! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bibi looking to score a takedown here. Misk is defending well but Bibi drives through and ends up in Misk's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Bibi got a little sloppy there for a moment and Misk has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bibi has managed to get both his arms back between Misk's legs - danger averted. Bibi stopping the sweep attempt from Misk. Misk working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bibi. Misk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bibi's guard. Bibi keeping moving, preventing Misk from controlling successfully. Misk looking to pass the guard. Misk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Misk slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Misk is trying to get an arm triangle but Bibi is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bibi is looking to regain half guard here but Misk keeps moving and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Misk working away. Misk lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Bibi defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Misk. Bibi is looking to get to half guard. Misk looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Misk pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Bibi tries to hold on but Misk pushes him away. Misk tries to control but Bibi wriggling away. Bibi is trying desperately to improve position. Misk has hold of Bibi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bibi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Misk can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bibi is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bibi bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Misk working for a triangle but Bibi defends it easily.
Bibi has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Misk is trying to keep Bibi in close.

Misk looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bibi is defending well. Misk quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bibi has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Misk celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
