Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shelton Delgado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Killman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Killman has chosen Dangerous by Conroy Smith as his entrance music. Bob Killman will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Killman! The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ron Honeybunn and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killman throws a lazy head kick and Delgado counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Killman is trying to drag Delgado to the mat but Delgado just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Killman can't get the takedown.
Delgado prevents a takedown attempt there.
Shelton Delgado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Killman. Killman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Delgado is defending well. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Killman walks away with a smile on his face. Delgado gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Killman pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Delgado closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Delgado tries for a takedown. No joy.

Killman drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Delgado manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Killman has Delgado in his guard. Killman wants to sweep here but Delgado controlling him for the moment.

Delgado is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Killman doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Delgado. Delgado missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Killman is controlling Delgado's trapped leg to prevent Delgado from advancing to side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Killman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Delgado is working away from the top position though.

Killman tries to get to full guard but Delgado has control of the leg. Delgado throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Delgado is thwarting Killman's attempts to control the position. Delgado seems to be working for a kimura but Killman defends the submission attempt.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Killman desperately trying to maintain half guard. Killman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Delgado missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Killman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Delgado is looking to work some ground and pound but Killman has wrist control.

Bob Killman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Killman throws a sloppy head kick and Delgado counters with a three punch combo that has Killman backing up. Killman nods at Delgado to acknowledge the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Delgado avoids the head kick by Killman.
