Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Asos Than (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Than Ace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Than comes into the arena with Spartan Grunt blaring out of the sound system. Asos Than could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Than Ace's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asos Than!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Than Ace!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Than misses with a hook
and Ace counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Ace moves into the clinch.

Ace has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Than uses from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Than stopping the sweep attempt from Ace.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ace manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Ace jumps into guard, dragging Than to the mat.
Ace is trying to keep Than in close.

Ace is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Than gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Than has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Hand 2 Hand Combat $50 !!! in the buildup to the fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Than misses the shot to the body.

Than lands a big right hand that sends Ace crashing to the mat! Than stays standing though and waves Ace back to his feet!


It looks like Than Ace has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ace closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Than did well to prevent Ace getting side control.
Ace looks winded!
Than looks like he's trying to stand up.
Well, if Ace is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Than Ace was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Than throws a hook to the side of Ace's head but Ace sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Ace shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Than wants to get back to his feet.
Ace throwing shots but Than is blocking nicely.
Than looks like he's trying to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Than scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Ace manages to mount him!
Ace sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Than wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Ace.
You get the feeling that Than really doesn't like being in this position too much.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ace trying to control but Than is having none of it.

Ace moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Than has worked his arm free - good work by Than!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ace misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Asos Than will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Than Ace's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jab by Than.
Ace fails with an attempt to clinch.
Than throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Ace counters by moving into the clinch.
Than wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Ace lands a takedown into guard.
Ace looking to pass the guard.

Than uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Ace shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Than is trying to defend but Ace finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ace wants to control but Than is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Than Ace was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ace glances at the clock... BAM! Than nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Ace crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Ace is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Asos Than!
Asos Than made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Humiliation!!'.
