Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milan Lucic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lucic comes to the cage accompanied by Shots. Connell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ain't No Sunshine kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Milan Lucic is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Connell motions for Lucic to come forward. Connell throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lucic misses with a wild combination.
Connell misses with a body kick.
Connell comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Milan Lucic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Connell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lucic moves away.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Connell can do anything to dispel that myth.
Lucic working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Connell's head.
Lucic is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Connell wants to stand up but Lucic is controlling him.

Lucic stands and throws Connell's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Connell wants to get back to his feet.
Lucic content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Lucic is looking to take a break and control but Connell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lucic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Connell keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Milan Lucic will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Back to the action!
Lucic shoots in looking for a takedown. Connell tries to sprawl out of it but Lucic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Connell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd cheers as Connell lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lucic doesn't seem phased though.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Lucic throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lucic lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Connell goes down and covers up as Lucic starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Milan Lucic!
