Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Willem MacCailin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caj Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willem MacCailin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Caj Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Kowalski. No joy for MacCailin on that attempt. MacCailin clinches up against the cage. MacCailin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kowalski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
MacCailin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kowalski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willem MacCailin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kowalski gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily so MacCailin counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. MacCailin throwing strikes but missing. MacCailin postures up.
MacCailin controls from within his opponent's guard. MacCailin wants to stand but Kowalski has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

MacCailin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kowalski works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kowalski looking for a sweep. Not yet Kowalski, not yet. MacCailin trying to control the position from guard on top but Kowalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. MacCailin drives through with a takedown into Kowalski's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. MacCailin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and MacCailin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. MacCailin has gone for a leg lock! Kowalski slips out almost immediately though and dives into MacCailin's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. MacCailin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. MacCailin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kowalski trying to control but MacCailin is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MacCailin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. This has been an exciting period of action! There's a bit of a scramble here and now MacCailin is on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but MacCailin has passed into side control.
MacCailin tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kowalski manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. MacCailin is thwarting Kowalski's attempts to control the position. Kowalski punching from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacCailin is trying to control. Kowalski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kowalski really doesn't want to stay on the ground with MacCailin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kowalski tries to roll over but MacCailin keeps him under control. MacCailin wants to control but Kowalski is keeping him busy. MacCailin is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kowalski is looking for a sweep. MacCailin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kowalski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. MacCailin throws a sloppy head kick and Kowalski moves out of range easily. Kowalski fails to land with a series of punches.

He shot from a bit too far out. Kowalski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says MacCailin as he avoids it easily. Kowalski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MacCailin's waist but MacCailin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kowalski off to one side. Willem MacCailin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Caj Kowalski. MacCailin drives through with a takedown into Kowalski's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Kowalski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
MacCailin can't escape the position.
Kowalski is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kowalski blocks MacCailin's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. MacCailin wants to control but Kowalski is having none of it. Kowalski throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
MacCailin wants to hold on but Kowalski pushes him away. Kowalski wants to get back to his feet but MacCailin is holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. MacCailin is looking to get to half guard. MacCailin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Willem MacCailin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kowalski throwing strikes but MacCailin uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. MacCailin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Kowalski pulls his head out easily. MacCailin tries to roll over but Kowalski keeps him under control. MacCailin is pressing down on Kowalski's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kowalski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kowalski must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kowalski sitting in guard, not really doing much. MacCailin looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
MacCailin keeping moving, preventing Kowalski from controlling successfully. Kowalski throws an elbow that misses. MacCailin uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kowalski's guard. Nice move by MacCailin!
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacCailin trying to control but Kowalski is working from the bottom. MacCailin tries to stand but Kowalski is controlling from the bottom. MacCailin throwing strikes from guard but Kowalski blocks nicely. Kowalski controls MacCailin momentarily but MacCailin frees himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kowalski is looking for a triangle but MacCailin pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Willem MacCailin dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
MacCailin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kowalski will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kowalski lands with a right hand. Kowalski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - MacCailin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. MacCailin fails to land the takedown. MacCailin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kowalski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but MacCailin swivels and escapes. Kowalski displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from MacCailin. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Willem MacCailin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. MacCailin closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kowalski's guard. Kowalski working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because MacCailin has passed into half guard!
MacCailin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kowalski has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, MacCailin escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by MacCailin! MacCailin trying to control the position but Kowalski is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kowalski tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kowalski is not content to let MacCailin control the position. MacCailin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kowalski sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MacCailin throwing shots but missing, from side control. MacCailin tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Kowalski tries to improve position but can't. You can see the frustration on Kowalski's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kowalski is trying to get back to half guard. Kowalski is still trying to improve position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. MacCailin wants to stand but Kowalski is controlling his arm. MacCailin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kowalski! MacCailin controlling the pace for now. Kowalski tries to get back to half guard but can't. MacCailin trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. MacCailin dominating with strikes here. Caj Kowalski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kowalski taking shots to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Willem MacCailin showed his dominance in that final round. Well MacCailin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
