Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Horacio Carver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Horacio Carver has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Horacio Carver seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faber throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Carver was covering up waiting for the punch and Faber finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Faber seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Carver throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Faber stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Faber closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Carver gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Carver apologises and we restart here on the feet.
