Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ve Topmaia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Griffin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin Parker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Parker misses its intended target.
Topmaia tries for a takedown but Parker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Topmaia shoots and misses
and Parker counters with a right hand to the body.
A big left from Parker misses.
Parker throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Topmaia gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Parker looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Parker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Parker cracks Topmaia with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Parker scores with a shot to the body.
Topmaia shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parker as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ve Topmaia. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Parker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Parker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A telegraphed right hand from Parker misses the target.
Parker lands with a straight right. Topmaia didn't see that one coming.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Topmaia.
Topmaia shoots in but no luck this time.
Topmaia is breathing heavily.

Parker catches Topmaia with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Parker scores with a hook to the body. Topmaia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Parker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Topmaia had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Parker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Parker stalks Topmaia and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Topmaia's face. Topmaia staggers backwards, shaken.

Topmaia is rocked!

It looks like Ve Topmaia has been cut.
and Parker counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Topmaia! He's just covering up as Parker starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
