Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lance Stevens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, John The Iron!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Stevens.
Stevens has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The Iron has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. So far he's outscoring his opponent in the clinch so it seems to have been worthwhile.

The Iron drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stevens looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stevens looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stevens!

The Iron is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lance Stevens.
I think The Iron has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
