The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bravo shoots in but Dandy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dandy lands with an uppercut that bounces Bravo off the cage and back into range.
Dandy throws a series of punches but Bravo avoids them all with ease.
Bravo fails with a takedown attempt.

Jim Dandy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Bravo.
Bravo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've been told by Dandy's head coaches at TAP ROOT -/- 10 Coaches / Great Sparring / Value that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bravo wants to free his trapped foot but Dandy is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Bravo stalling away here and it's allowed Dandy to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Bravo is trying to move to mount but Dandy reverses beautifully and ends up in Bravo's guard.

Bravo has his foot on Dandy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dandy works his way back into a safe position though.

Bravo slips a jab and a cross from Dandy.
Dandy throws a series of punches but Bravo moves out of range.
Dandy feints a jab promting Bravo to slip. Dandy then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bravo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dandy throws a right and a left that both miss.

and Dandy counters with a right hand to the body.
Bravo takes a swing at Dandy's ribcage but misses.
Dandy stuffs the takedown.
Dandy fails to land with a series of punches.
Bravo throws a hook but Dandy avoids it easily.

Bravo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dandy manages to avoid it.

Bravo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Dandy was covering up waiting for the punch and Bravo finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bravo tries to free his leg and advance position but Dandy is retaining full guard.

Bravo postures up in Dandy's guard and throws a big left but Dandy blocks it.
Bravo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dandy is keeping the position for now.
Dandy wants to sweep but no luck.

Bravo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bravo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dandy dives on top into guard.

Bravo wants to sweep here but Dandy controlling him for the moment.

Dandy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bravo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dandy has managed to get both his arms back between Bravo's legs - danger averted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bravo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dandy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bravo is pulling down on Dandy's head. It's preventing any offense from Dandy, at least for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dandy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Johnny Bravo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Dandy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Dandy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bravo doesn't seem bothered though.
Bravo dives in and grabs Dandy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Dandy pushes down on Bravo's head and hops out.
Bravo loads up on a big right hand but Dandy slips the punch.

It looks like Johnny Bravo has been cut.
Bravo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dandy but Dandy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Bravo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dandy's half guard.

Dandy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bravo wants to pass to mount but Dandy is defending the position.

Bravo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dandy sees it coming and defends easily.

Bravo swings around for an armbar but Dandy sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bravo's guard.

Bravo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dandy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Dandy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Jim Dandy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

We're going to have a standup here because Jim Dandy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bravo throws the left hand but Dandy avoids the punch easily.

Dandy gets caught flat footed, as Bravo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dandy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bravo wants to control from the top but Dandy keeps moving.
Bravo throws a big elbow that misses.
Johnny Bravo has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bravo working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Bravo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bravo is trying to control. Dandy wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bravo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Bravo is working for a kimura but Dandy is defending it quite comfortably.
