Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohammed Jihad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Vector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jihad comes to the cage accompanied by America! Fuck Yeah!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohammed Jihad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Vector!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jihad pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jihad misses with an uppercut
and Vector counters with a shoot takedown. Jihad fights it but they end up in guard.
Jihad tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jihad has his hands on Vector's head, controlling the position.
Vector throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jihad works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jihad wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Vector is pushing down on Jihad's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jihad is fighting to maintain full guard but Vector has managed to sneak the leg through.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vector thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Jihad's head.

Jihad is looking for a sweep. Vector is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Vector working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Jihad is not content to let Vector control the position.
Vector might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jihad haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jihad is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Vector is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Jihad jumps into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vector tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Jihad is working Vector over with some ground and pound from side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mohammed Jihad.

and Vector counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jihad can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vector controls the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Vector shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jihad as he jumps to the side.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Vector dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vector slips under a jab.
Jihad is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vector.
Jihad misses with a straight right.
Jihad just misses with a punch to the body.
Jihad looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vector is defended easily by Jihad.
Vector works the jab nicely.

and Vector counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Vector.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Jihad is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Jihad lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Vector!
Vector manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Vector works his way to full guard. Good work.
Vector pushes a forearm under Jihad's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jihad is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Victor Vector!
Victor Vector decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
Mohammed Jihad was interviewed post fight and said 'Well...shit!'.
