Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Gannicus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Ant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus Gannicus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Anthony Ant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ant fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gannicus to the ground. Ant is now in Gannicus's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ant postures up in Gannicus's guard and throws a big left but Gannicus blocks it.
Ant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ant working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gannicus's head.
Gannicus looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ant stays in close to Gannicus's body and controls the position.
Ant has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Ant with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gannicus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ant controls the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Anthony Ant was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Ant closes the distance and pushes Gannicus back into the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gannicus wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ant has him pressed against the cage.
Gannicus is trying to break free.

A nice left hand lands by Ant.
Ant pushes Gannicus back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ant with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Gannicus tries to break the clinch but Ant is controlling the position.

Still in the clinch, Ant scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ant lands a left hand.

Ant drops Gannicus onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Gannicus is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Gannicus is rocked!

Ant lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Oh Gannicus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ant unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Gannicus! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Ant is unloading with more strikes now! Gannicus drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
