Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miles Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that James Moran was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Miles Perry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Moran!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moran closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Perry to the mat! Perry manages to get full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Perry has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Moran is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Perry.
Perry is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moran tries to score with some ground and pound. Perry controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Perry tries to bench press Moran off him but Moran keeps the position.
Perry dodges the ground and pound from Moran.
Perry throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Moran working the head and body with strikes.
Moran works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Perry is rocked!
Moran in side control lands a decent elbow.
Oh Perry is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moran cracks Perry with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Moran immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Perry is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Moran!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Moran!
