Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Falcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Adam Falcon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mario Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Falcon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gracie tries to buck Falcon off but Falcon is having none of it.
Falcon stands up.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Falcon shows good takedown defense.
Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Falcon lands a jab to the nose.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Falcon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Falcon decides to stand back up. Falcon steps back and let's Gracie get back to his feet.
Falcon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Adam Falcon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Gracie.
Gracie tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Falcon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Falcon looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Falcon controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Falcon gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting.
Sloppy strikes from Gracie. Those never looked like landing.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gracie looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gracie gets caught napping as Falcon dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard.
Falcon gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting.
Gracie looks winded!
Falcon lands a head shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Falcon feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Falcon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Falcon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gracie trying to control the position.
Falcon stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Gracie is rocked!
Falcon stands and steps away. Gracie gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Falcon cracks Gracie with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Gracie tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Falcon pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Gracie is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Falcon!
In his post fight interview, Adam Falcon started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
