The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velez doesn't manage to clinch there - Pacquiao circles away.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Velez enables Pacquiao to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Velez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pacquiao is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Velez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pacquiao is looking to defend but Velez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pacquiao! Velez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pacquiao taps out and this one is all over!
