Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Josue Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kane Williams! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams moves into the clinch. Williams turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Lee sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Williams wants to advance to full mount but Lee doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Lee wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Williams looking to improve position, pressing down on Lee's thigh with his hand. Lee seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Williams paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Williams's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Lee picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
