Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wally Garza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wally Garza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marcus Mayhem! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garza misses with a wild body shot. Mayhem moves in looking to clinch but Garza pushes him off. Garza moves out of range of the body kick. Garza pushes Mayhem up against the cage in a clinch. Mayhem pulls guard effortlessly. Mayhem looking for a sweep. Not yet Mayhem, not yet. Mayhem really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Garza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Garza throws a big right hand that misses. Mayhem wants to sweep but no luck. Mayhem wants to improve his position but instead Garza has moved into half guard.
Garza takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Mayhem is trying to control but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mayhem trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Garza manages to pass to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garza is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mayhem to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mayhem shrugs it off. Garza prevents Mayhem from getting the reversal. Garza raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mayhem in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Mayhem looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mayhem tries to control Garza's body but Garza pushes him off. Mayhem squirms to his side and now Garza has his back! Mayhem trying to control the position but Garza manages to sink in the hooks. Mayhem is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Mayhem trying to control the action but Garza just sinks the hooks in. Garza has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mayhem breaks Garza's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garza is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Garza working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mayhem. Mayhem wants to stand but Garza is controlling his posture from full guard. Mayhem must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Garza controls Mayhem momentarily but Mayhem frees himself. Garza throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mayhem wants to get up but he can't break Garza's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mayhem accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Wally Garza will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Garza tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mayhem defends well and Garza ends up having to push Mayhem into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mayhem breaks from the clinch.
Garza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Mayhem lands a jab. Garza closes the distance and pushes Mayhem back into the cage. Mayhem breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mayhem gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mayhem is trying to hold Garza in close to prevent damage but Garza has managed to pass into half guard.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Garza prevents Mayhem from standing back up.

Garza tries for a kimura but Mayhem is defending well. Garza thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Garza will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Garza wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mayhem, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Mayhem's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Garza tries for a kimura but Mayhem is defending well. Mayhem is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Garza swings around for an armbar but Mayhem sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Garza's guard. Garza trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Mayhem with a flurry of punches that miss. Mayhem content to stall in guard here. Garza controls Mayhem momentarily but Mayhem frees himself. Mayhem has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Garza is proving hard to escape from. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Garza controls Mayhem momentarily but Mayhem frees himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Wally Garza will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Garza is pulling down on Mayhem's head. It's preventing any offense from Mayhem, at least for the moment. Garza lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mayhem!

Wally Garza is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Garza is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Mayhem jumps into side control!
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wally Garza. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Garza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
