Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vince Paguandas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Legere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Legere tries to clinch
and Paguandas counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Legere rushes Paguandas and presses him up against the cage.
Legere is trying to push Paguandas away but Paguandas has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Paguandas is trying to drag Legere to the mat but Legere just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Paguandas has Legere pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Legere manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Legere shoots in but no luck this time.

Legere changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Paguandas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Legere takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Let's hope that Legere has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Legere has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
