Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Climacus Alferink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyler Aleshire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Climacus Alferink has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Climacus Alferink! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kyler Aleshire! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alferink throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Alferink gets tackled into the cage by Aleshire. Aleshire maintains the clinch. Alferink's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Alferink dives in and scores a takedown into Aleshire's guard. Alferink has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Aleshire is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Alferink won't allow Aleshire to get back to his feet. Alferink postures up.
Aleshire bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Alferink's guard. Alferink is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Aleshire defends well. Aleshire passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alferink is looking to reverse the position. Aleshire tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Aleshire tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Aleshire misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Alferink knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aleshire on the ground. Alferink tries to bench press Aleshire off him but Aleshire keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aleshire scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Alferink to see if he's OK. Alferink tries to buck Aleshire off but Aleshire is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aleshire wants to stand but Alferink has his arm trapped. Alferink on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alferink tries to get out of the position. Aleshire tries for a kimura but Alferink is defending well. Alferink is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Alferink tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Aleshire presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aleshire working for a submission but Alferink is keeping him at bay.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Aleshire looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Aleshire sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Alferink could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Alferink is trying to escape the mount.
Alferink might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aleshire tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Aleshire jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Alferink is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Alferink and Aleshire has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Alferink avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Aleshire. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Aleshire in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Aleshire is looking to take a break and control but Alferink is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kyler Aleshire dominated that round. That's time! Alferink's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Alferink is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Aleshire's half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alferink scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Aleshire moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Aleshire is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Alferink is controlling Aleshire's trapped leg to prevent Aleshire from advancing to side control. Alferink is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aleshire takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Aleshire moves nicely into side control. Aleshire cracks Alferink with a big elbow. Alferink wants to control but Aleshire postures up. Alferink is trying to get back to half guard. Aleshire throws a strike aimed at the side of Alferink's head but Alferink avoids it well. Alferink wants to control but Aleshire postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aleshire takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Alferink to pass into mount. BOOM! Aleshire connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Alferink is looking to improve his position but Aleshire isn't that keen on the idea. Aleshire postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Alferink looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Aleshire. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Alferink has given up his back here. Will Aleshire look for the submission or keep pounding away?

That's three minutes gone in the round. Aleshire is working for a rear naked choke. Alferink is not defending it well and Aleshire has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Alferink refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Alferink's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kyler Aleshire!
