Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bembol Oblaks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Gable (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Oblaks might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hurt by Johnny Cash. Bembol Oblaks is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bembol Oblaks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Don Gable! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gable throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nice takedown defense from Gable. No joy for Oblaks on that attempt. We've been told by Oblaks's head coaches at Hate Made Me Asylum that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A jab from Gable misses. Oblaks fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Oblaks throws a head kick that misses. Oblaks shoots in looking for a takedown. Gable tries to sprawl out of it but Oblaks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gable manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bembol Oblaks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gable does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Gable stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Oblaks. Gable avoids a punch combination nicely.

Oblaks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gable fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oblaks, pushing him back against the cage. Oblaks jumps guard but Gable turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Gable taking a breather. Gable drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Oblaks gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Oblaks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gable pulls his leg out and moves away.
Oblaks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gable swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gable shoots in looking for a takedown. Oblaks tries to sprawl out of it but Gable keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oblaks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gable moves into the clinch successfully.
Oblaks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gable walks away with a smile on his face. Oblaks gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gable shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oblaks pinned against the cage. Oblaks gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gable dives in and grabs Oblaks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oblaks pushes down on Gable's head and hops out. Oblaks slips under a jab from Gable. Gable shoots for a takedown but Oblaks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Oblaks stuffs the takedown attempt from Gable. Gable gets slowly back to his feet. Oblaks closes the distance and clinches up with Gable, looking for a takedown. Oblaks pushes Gable against the cage but Gable circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gable fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gable shoots in for a double leg but Oblaks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Gable looks winded! A head kick misses from Oblaks. Gable throws a low kick but it's checked well by Oblaks. Oblaks shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gable as he jumps to the side. Oblaks fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gable avoids it really well and circles away. Gable fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oblaks manages to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gable shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oblaks as he avoids it easily. Gable stuffs the takedown. Oblaks shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gable pinned against the cage. Gable gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A telegraphed right hand from Gable misses the target. Gable misses with a wild body shot. Oblaks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gable tries to avoid it but Oblaks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gable to the ground. Gable escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Oblaks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gable shoots in looking for a takedown. Oblaks tries to sprawl out of it but Gable keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Oblaks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Gable has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Don Gable dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Oblaks counters with a nice body shot. A head kick misses from Oblaks. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gable is defended easily by Oblaks. Oblaks tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gable defends well and Oblaks ends up having to push Gable into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gable is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Oblaks gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Oblaks jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Gable has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Oblaks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Gable keeps control of the position as Oblaks tries to break free.
Oblaks rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gable is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Oblaks doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gable. Gable is pressing down on Oblaks's thigh, looking to free his foot. Oblaks is holding on for now. Oblaks moves into full guard.
Oblaks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Oblaks is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Gable trying to control the position from guard on top but Oblaks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oblaks has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gable is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Oblaks. Gable lands some shots froms side control. Gable really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oblaks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gable lands an elbow. Gable controlling from side mount. Gable working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Gable is thwarting Oblaks's attempts to control the position. Gable trying to pass the guard but Oblaks defending well. Gable prevents Oblaks from improving his position. Oblaks has hold of Gable's hands but Gable slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oblaks wants to control but Gable is keeping busy.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gable lands a nice short elbow. Gable is trying to control the action in half guard but Oblaks is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gable lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Gable takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gable is trying to control. Oblaks wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oblaks tries to get to full guard but Gable has control of the leg. Gable is keen to just control but Oblaks is a slippery customer. Ground and pound from Gable. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oblaks has his hands clasped together around Gable's back. He's all about the action. Oblaks has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gable is working away from the top position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Don Gable will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Oblaks has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gable! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gable can do anything to dispel that myth. Oblaks wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Gable felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Gable is desperately trying to improve his position but Oblaks has a good base and remains in mount. Gable regains half guard. Oblaks is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Gable sees it coming and defends easily. Oblaks is working for a submission of some sort.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Gable is looking to control Oblaks's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gable avoid being mounted? Gable is looking for a sweep. Oblaks is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Don Gable is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gable holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Gable is defending against the submission attempts here by Oblaks.
Oblaks is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gable is just riding it out for now. Oblaks eventually gives up the hold. Oblaks is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Oblaks is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Oblaks avoids the attempt from Gable to control. Gable holds on to Oblaks as tight as he can, avoiding damage. Gable keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Gable is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Oblaks working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Gable looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Oblaks! Submission of the night perhaps?
