PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Harding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liquid Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Logan Harding!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Liquid Snake!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harding tries to clinch but Snake moves out of range.

Snake pushes Harding up against the cage in a clinch.
Harding jumps guard but Snake stands there with Harding around his waist. Harding gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Harding tries a body shot but Snake blocks it.
Harding doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Harding trying to control the position but instead, Snake has worked for underhooks and has pushed Harding into the cage.
Harding tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Harding escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Harding fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snake throws out a leg kick but Harding moves out of range and Snake only half commits.
Harding shoots for a double leg takedown but Snake sprawls well. He's pushed Harding's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Logan Harding. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Snake digs a good hook to Harding's body.
Snake works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Logan Harding has been cut.
Snake uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harding has time to react.
Snake looks to land a combination. Harding sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Snake steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Harding.
Good standup being displayed there by Snake as he connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Snake misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harding slips under a jab.
Snake takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Harding dodges the punch combination from Snake.
Harding checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
No joy there for Harding, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Snake darts in and clinches Harding up against the cage.
Harding is trying to pull guard but Snake has him pressed against the cage.

Harding's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Harding.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Snake is not content to let Harding control the position.

Harding stands up.
Harding fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Harding jumps guard but Snake turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Snake dodges an elbow strike from Harding.

Harding manages to break the clinch.
Harding shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Snake defends it nicely.
Snake looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Harding tries to clinch but Snake is having none of it.

Harding takes the fight into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harding tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Snake just stands there and leans against the cage.
Harding tries to pull guard but Snake won't allow it.

Snake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Snake takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Harding goes for a double leg but Snake avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Snake continues to drive forward.
Harding is breathing heavily.

Harding pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Snake lands with a right hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Harding cracks Snake with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Snake throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Snake stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liquid Snake dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Logan Harding's cut.
That's time! Harding's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Snake turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Harding is rocked!
Snake cracks Harding's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Harding slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Snake can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Liquid Snake!
