Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Borya lands.
Borya goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Diaz misses the target.
Diaz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Borya can pounce on him.
Borya misses with a body shot.
Nice body punch from Diaz.
Diaz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Diaz misses the shot to the body.
Borya fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Diaz looks to clinch
and Borya counters with a shoot takedown. Diaz fights it but they end up in guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Diaz is trying to control the position but Borya postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz has his feet on Borya's thighs here. He's pushed Borya off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Borya screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
