Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waylon Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Haun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micheal Haun will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Waylon Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Micheal Haun!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haun shoots in and gets a takedown into Justice's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Haun controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Haun trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Haun trying to control but Justice is working from the bottom.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Micheal Haun wasn't active enough on the ground.
Justice blocks a head kick by Haun.

Justice gets a clinch.

Haun pulls guard.
Haun is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Justice is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Justice connects with a couple of short punches.
Justice working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haun is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Justice is controlling him.
Haun is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Justice avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Justice missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haun is trying to keep Justice in close.
Justice seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Haun working a defensive guard but Justice passes into half guard.
Justice has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haun is controlling Justice's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Justice scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Justice looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haun is trying to maintain the position but Justice is very close to passing his half guard.
Haun tries to roll over but Justice keeps him under control.
Haun has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Justice is working away from the top position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Justice not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Haun avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Justice.
Justice controlling the pace.
Haun trying to hold on to Justice's head to control him but Justice postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Haun shoots in and bounces Justice off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Justice striking off his back but it's not causing Haun any problems.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Waylon Justice will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A big right from Justice misses.

Haun feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Justice could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Haun loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Justice keeping moving, preventing Haun from controlling successfully.
Justice manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Haun tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Justice looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Waylon Justice overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Haun tries to hold on but Justice pushes him away.
Justice lands a big shot there that rocks Haun but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.


Haun is rocked!
Haun takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Justice's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Waylon Justice!
