Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mophaf Bungradidoa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jet Chan! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bungradidoa swats away the attempt to clinch by Chan. Chan tries to sprawl but Bungradidoa drives through with a takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bungradidoa throwing shots but Chan is blocking nicely. Bungradidoa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Chan keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bungradidoa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bungradidoa trying to mount his opponent but Chan defends it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mophaf Bungradidoa just wasn't active enough. Chan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bungradidoa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Chan to the ground. Bungradidoa is now in Chan's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bungradidoa slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chan has momentary wrist control but Bungradidoa slips an elbow through the middle. Bungradidoa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chan is working an open guard so Bungradidoa takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Bungradidoa shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Bungradidoa with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Chan is trying to maintain the position but Bungradidoa is very close to passing his half guard. Chan is staying active underneath Bungradidoa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Chan is looking to escape. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We're going to have a standup here because Mophaf Bungradidoa wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Bungradidoa shoots for a takedown but Chan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chan wants it to stay on the feet. Bungradidoa connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Chan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Excellent takedown into side control there by Bungradidoa. Bungradidoa in side control, just content to control the action for now. Chan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bungradidoa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bungradidoa scores with punches from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bungradidoa in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Bungradidoa wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Chan, who protects the arm well. Bungradidoa is looking to take a break and control but Chan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bungradidoa prevents Chan from escaping the position. Bungradidoa goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Chan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bungradidoa's guard! Nice work there by Chan! Bungradidoa wants to sweep but no luck. Bungradidoa managing to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chan looking to sit in guard and control but Bungradidoa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Bungradidoa forces his way into half guard. Bungradidoa throws a strike but Chan avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Bungradidoa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bungradidoa looking to pass the guard. Bungradidoa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mophaf Bungradidoa dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.
Nice sprawl there from Chan as Bungradidoa shoots in. Chan shoots in but Bungradidoa avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bungradidoa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mophaf Bungradidoa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bungradidoa working the head and body with strikes. Bungradidoa is working Chan over with some ground and pound from side control. Bungradidoa moves into full mount! Bungradidoa looking to control but Chan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bungradidoa working the ground and pound effectively.

Chan is rocked! Bungradidoa loads up with a big shot that hurts Chan! He's pulled Bungradidoa in close but Bungradidoa has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Chan survive? More strikes from Bungradidoa and Chan is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mophaf Bungradidoa! Mophaf Bungradidoa gave a mention to Kemists ↑ 5x160Q in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
