Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Kaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nero Octavianus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nero Octavianus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorma Kaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nero Octavianus !
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaki closes the distance and clinches.
Kaki jumps guard but Octavianus stands there with Kaki around his waist. Kaki gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Octavianus pulls guard effortlessly.
Kaki looking to sit in guard and control but Octavianus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Octavianus won't allow Kaki to sweep him here.
Kaki is trying to keep Octavianus in close.
Octavianus passes Kaki's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Octavianus is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kaki has managed to free his arm - good work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kaki is holding on to half guard well.
Octavianus is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kaki is not content to let Octavianus control the position.
Kaki is trying to get back to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Octavianus is looking to advance position but Kaki won't allow it.
Kaki is looking for a sweep. Octavianus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Octavianus is looking for a kimura but Kaki is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Octavianus to get the leverage.
Octavianus prevents Kaki from improving his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kaki closes the distance and clinches.

Kaki with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Octavianus has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kaki uses from the top position.
Kaki trying to control but Octavianus is working from the bottom.
Octavianus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaki doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kaki manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Octavianus looks gassed!
Kaki tries to stand but Octavianus is controlling from the bottom.

Kaki postures up in Octavianus 's guard and throws a big left but Octavianus blocks it.
Kaki slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Octavianus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kaki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nero Octavianus dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kaki fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kaki shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Kaki scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee warns Octavianus that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kaki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Octavianus is looking to get to half guard.

Kaki wants to control the pace but Octavianus is squirming around nicely.
BOOM! Kaki connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Kaki is trying to control here but Octavianus has managed to regain half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Octavianus gets back to full guard.
Octavianus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Kaki wants to pass the guard but Octavianus is keeping the position.
Kaki pushing down on Octavianus 's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Kaki working over Octavianus with some ground and pound. Octavianus looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Kaki trying to control the pace.
Kaki seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Octavianus for as long as he can get away with.
Octavianus is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kaki's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kaki's back!
I really don't envy Kaki right now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Octavianus has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Kaki! Can he survive? No! He's out! Octavianus gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Nero Octavianus !
