Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chauncey Villarreal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Swift Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bang has taken the fight to the clinch.
Villarreal tries for a takedown but Bang manages to get underhooks.
Villarreal blocks an elbow strike.

Bang ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bang no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Villarreal got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Villarreal has managed to get both his arms back between Bang's legs - danger averted.

Villarreal avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

You can see the frustration on Villarreal's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Villarreal is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bang asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Villarreal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Villarreal swats away the attempt to clinch by Bang.
Bang attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Bang wants to clinch up but Villarreal keeps it at a distance.

Swift Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bang drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Villarreal is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bang is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're going to have a standup here because Chauncey Villarreal wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Bang. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Villarreal's guard.
Villarreal has Bang pulled in close to control his posture.
Bang wants to get up but he can't break Villarreal's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Villarreal working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Villarreal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Villarreal shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Bang is trying to defend but Villarreal finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bang can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bang tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Villarreal won't let Bang get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Villarreal postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bang looks a forlorn figure.
Bang tries to lock up and control but Villarreal gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Swift Bang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
