Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Stanley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanley's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Master Killer - Merauder. Augusto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Reset the Future-Mind Flow/ kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Miguel Augusto will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shinya Stanley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miguel Augusto! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Augusto slips a jab and a cross from Stanley.
The fighters circling - Stanley throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Stanley clinches up against the cage. Stanley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Augusto darts in looking for a takedown but Stanley gets double underhooks and turns Augusto into the cage. Augusto is trying to pull guard but Stanley turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Stanley breaks from the clinch.
Stanley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Augusto is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stanley.
It looks like Miguel Augusto has been cut. Stanley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stanley wants it to stay on the feet. Shinya Stanley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miguel Augusto. Stanley moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Augusto is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Stanley to keep the fight standing. Augusto jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stanley walks away with a smile on his face. Augusto gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Stanley swinging wildly here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stanley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Stanley forces Augusto back against the cage and clinches. Stanley breaks the clinch.
Stanley throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Stanley throws a low kick but it's checked well by Augusto. Stanley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stanley lands a lovely overhand right. Augusto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Stanley looks to score with a jab to the body but Augusto is just out of range. Stanley throws a good cross that connects.
Shinya Stanley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Augusto gets tackled into the cage by Stanley. Stanley maintains the clinch. Stanley breaks from the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stanley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Augusto.
Augusto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stanley. Stanley looks to score with a jab to the body but Augusto is just out of range. Augusto fails with a takedown attempt. Stanley tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Augusto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Stanley rushes Augusto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Stanley can't find room to land a body shot as Augusto controls the action.
Stanley lands a left hand that snaps the head of Augusto backwards. Stanley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Augustos head. Stanley's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stanley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Augusto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stanley falls off balance throwing a combination
and Augusto counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Stanley! Stanley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Augusto has hold of Stanley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Stanley seems comfortable defending it but Augusto has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Stanley is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Stanley is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Augusto couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Miguel Augusto! Miguel Augusto took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Meet the Future for their support in the buildup to the fight. In defeat, Shinya Stanley stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'm considering retiring...I mean I don't know...Man, these fighters are all bullshit...I'm like...like, why am I doing this?'.
