Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Valdivia Chinelinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Valdivia Chinelinho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jacob Reed! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chinelinho fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Reed tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Reed tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Chinelinho manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Reed is looking to clinch. Reed clinches with his opponent.
Reed looking for a takedown. Reed keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chinelinho's efforts to push away. Reed drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chinelinho pulls his leg out and moves away.
Reed keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A big right from Chinelinho misses. Chinelinho gets a double leg takedown into Reed's guard. Chinelinho avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chinelinho won't allow Reed to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinelinho keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Reed's head. Reed wants to sweep but no luck. Chinelinho is working Reed over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Reed has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chinelinho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Reed wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Chinelinho wants to pass the guard but Reed is keeping the position. Reed being controlled here, momentarily. Reed throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chinelinho trying to stand up but can't free himself from Reed's guard. Chinelinho tries to free his leg and advance position but Reed is retaining full guard. Chinelinho wants to get up but he can't break Reed's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Reed looking to control.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Chinelinho drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sloppy strikes from Chinelinho. Those never looked like landing. Chinelinho closes the distance and clinches up with Reed, looking for a takedown. Chinelinho pushes Reed against the cage but Reed circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valdivia Chinelinho. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chinelinho is looking to clinch but Reed is avoiding it.

Reed ducks under a wild hook from Chinelinho. Reed shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinelinho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reed, pushing him back against the cage. Chinelinho breaks from the clinch.
Reed fails with a takedown attempt. Reed avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reed has a takedown stuffed. Reed looks winded! Chinelinho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reed bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Chinelinho is trying to control Reed's posture but Reed avoids it. Chinelinho throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Chinelinho as Reed shoots in. Chinelinho swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chinelinho throws a head kick that misses. Chinelinho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chinelinho throws a right hand that Reed ducks under and follows up with a left that Reed also avoids with ease. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chinelinho defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reed. Chinelinho circles away from the clinch attempt.
Chinelinho seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Reed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chinelinho avoids it really well and circles away. Reed gets caught napping as Chinelinho dives in and scores a takedown. Reed manages to retain guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chinelinho wants to control from the top but Reed keeps moving. Chinelinho missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Valdivia Chinelinho dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Reed keeps the fight on the outside. Reed scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Chinelinho is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Reed pulls his head out easily. Reed lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Chinelinho is looking to escape. Reed is trying to control. Chinelinho wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Chinelinho trying to control but Reed postures up.
Reed seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Chinelinho does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Chinelinho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chinelinho. Chinelinho trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed is working Chinelinho over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Chinelinho is trying to control the position but Reed postures up. Reed tries to stand but Chinelinho is controlling from the bottom. Chinelinho wants to sweep here but Reed controlling him for the moment. Chinelinho looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chinelinho had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reed defends it easily. Reed advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed trying to control the action but Chinelinho is working from the bottom. Reed not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Chinelinho gets full guard. Chinelinho looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reed stands and steps away. Chinelinho gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Reed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chinelinho is fending him off so far but Reed persists. Nope, Chinelinho circles away and we're back to standing. Chinelinho blocks a head kick by Reed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Reed shoots for a takedown but Chinelinho saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Chinelinho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Valdivia Chinelinho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Reed. Chinelinho tries a head kick but it misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed stuffs the takedown attempt from Chinelinho. Chinelinho gets slowly back to his feet. Chinelinho fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Chinelinho leaves Reed with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chinelinho misses with a wild combination.
Valdivia Chinelinho is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reed scores with a crisp jab that stopped Chinelinho in his tracks. Reed avoids a punch combination nicely.
Reed tries to clinch up. Reed is looking to clinch but Chinelinho is avoiding it.
Chinelinho darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Reed trying to control but Chinelinho postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chinelinho throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Reed to regain full guard. Chinelinho working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Reed is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Chinelinho looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reed throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reed wants to pass the guard but Chinelinho is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jacob Reed will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Reed shoots in and gets a takedown into Chinelinho's guard. Reed trying to move into half guard but instead Chinelinho has managed to sweep! Chinelinho loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Reed looking for a sweep. Not yet Reed, not yet. Reed trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Chinelinho trying to control but Reed is working from the bottom. Chinelinho drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Reed dives on top into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Reed pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Chinelinho is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinelinho tries to land a sweep but no joy. Reed got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chinelinho has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Reed has managed to get both his arms back between Chinelinho's legs - danger averted. Chinelinho can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reed controls the pace. Reed pushes down on Chinelinho's leg and manages to get into half guard. Chinelinho actively working from the bottom here. Chinelinho looking for submissions off his back. Reed tries to pass to full mount but Chinelinho defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reed moves nicely into side control. Chinelinho is looking for a sweep. Reed decides to stand back up. Chinelinho moves in looking to clinch but Reed pushes him off. Valdivia Chinelinho is winning the standup battle so far. Chinelinho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reed as he jumps to the side. Reed shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Reed was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reed taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reed trying to control the action but Chinelinho is working from the bottom. Reed working the ground and pound. Chinelinho trying to control but Reed flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back! Chinelinho tries to escape but Reed has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Chinelinho trying to control the hands but Reed won't let him. Reed is looking to control Chinelinho but Chinelinho is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reed is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Chinelinho up.

Chinelinho is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Reed's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chinelinho is in bad spot here.

And that's the end of the fight! Jacob Reed comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Reed has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
